Treatments

Gel polish

Gel polish is a professional nail polish that gives you beautiful nails without any marks for up to 2 weeks. Gel polish retains its shine for up to 3 weeks and is easy to remove. Removal takes only 8 minutes using gentle Remover Wraps. There is no need to file the nails to remove gel polish.

This prevents damage to natural nails. Your nails will not become thin or otherwise damaged, regardless of how long you wear gel polish, if you remember to care for your nails with oil between treatments.

Manicure & Pedicure

When you choose our manicure treatment, we work thoroughly to care for your hands and nails. Your nails are filed into shape, cuticles are pushed back, and discoloration is gently removed. Your hands are exfoliated and massaged.

When you choose our pedicure treatment, your toenails will be filed into shape, cuticles pushed back, and discoloration gently removed. We remove any hard skin, and your feet will be exfoliated and massaged. Your feet will be left soft and well-groomed with beautiful nails. Can be done in combination with gel polish.

Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are something that can really complete your look and give you a luxurious feeling. At all KING NAILS salons, you can have your eyelashes done just the way you want them.

We offer various eyelash treatments, and if you have any questions, just visit one of our branches or contact us by phone or Facebook. If you want natural or full lashes, then eyelash extensions are for you.

Permanent Makeup Eyebrows

Permanent makeup treatments have become very popular in Denmark in recent years.

Right now, 3D eyebrows (PhiBrows) are a particularly sought-after treatment. It is important that you choose an approved practitioner when you want to have 3D eyebrows done. Our employees are approved practitioners.

3D eyebrows must be individually tailored to each customer. The technique and design must be perfect, and as certified 3D eyebrow practitioners, we are subject to ongoing supervision and must document our work.

Waxing treatments

All men and women experience unwanted hair growth in intimate areas, in the nose, in the ears, or elsewhere. Many try to remove the hair themselves by shaving or using hair removal cream. However, none of these methods keep the hair away for long, and many people often experience skin irritation, ingrown hairs, and pimples after trying hair removal themselves.

You can avoid all this by booking a waxing appointment with us. We use Lycon/Perron Rigot products, which significantly reduce the risk of ingrown hairs and irritated skin. To achieve the best results from waxing treatments, it is very important that you, as a customer, use the correct products between and after your waxing treatments. This will ensure the best results and less discomfort during and after the treatments.

Acrylic Nails

Acrylic nails are natural nails that are reinforced/extended with acrylic. The acrylic is applied on top of your own natural nail or on tips if you want extensions. Acrylic nails are 8 times stronger than natural nails.

Acrylic nails can be made very thin and natural while retaining their strength, giving you strong, thin, and natural nails. They can be used for both extensions and reinforcement, and acrylic nails are made from liquid and powder.

The same results can also be achieved with gel nails.

Maintenance

When you book an appointment at KING NAILS to have your new nail extensions or reinforcements done, or one of our other treatments, it is important to us that you have decided that you are willing to spend both the time and money on maintenance.

We recommend that you have your nails done every 3 or 4 weeks to keep them looking nice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our treatments, prices, and booking. Here we have compiled everything you typically want to know before visiting King Nails.

No, your nails don't need a break; you should only take a break if you want to. There is a myth that you need to give your nails time to breathe, but nails are made of keratin, which is dead and therefore does not need air. If you get a fungal infection on your nails, you will need to take a break while you are being treated.

You can have your nails done and eyelash extensions when you are 13 years old. If you want permanent makeup, you must be over 18 years old. If you are under 15 years old, you must be accompanied by an adult. There are no age restrictions on our other treatments.

The durability of the nails varies depending on the type of nails you have had done. If you have your nails done with regular nail polish, they will not last as long as gel nails. The durability also depends on how much you use your hands and for what. A suggestion for those who type on a computer or mobile phone is to avoid using your fingertips.
After 3-4 weeks, you can come back and have your artificial nails refilled or have new gel polish applied.
The nails are, of course, made according to the customer's wishes, but if you want to have long nails and don't know how to do anything with long nails, we recommend that you start with short nails so you can get used to them. When you come in for a refill, we can leave the length as it is. That way, you will gradually get used to the feeling of having long nails and how to handle them.
Yes, we would be happy to, so please book an appointment with us. You can book either by phone or online.
It is not dangerous to have your nails done while pregnant; this has also been tested and documented. However, it is a good idea to have your nails done in a well-ventilated area. We also recommend gel nails, as they do not produce as strong fumes as regular nail polish.
Artificial nails can change color if they are exposed to strong UV light, which can happen in a solarium, but also if you take a trip south. When artificial nails are exposed to strong UV light, they can fade or turn brownish, so it is a good idea to cover your nails, which can be done with a layer of Vaseline.
Gel nail polish has become increasingly popular over the last 4-5 years as it offers a good alternative to regular nail polish. Regular nail polish typically takes 20-30 minutes to cure. Gel polish is a little different as it is cured by a UV-LED lamp, which can complete the process in a few minutes. This means that with a UV lamp, you can cure the polish immediately. Gel polish often needs to be applied by a professional who is trained in this specific type of polish, which also pushes the price up a little. On the other hand, gel polish has a number of advantages:
If you notice that your gel polish is bubbling or peeling at the edges, it is probably because you have applied too thick a layer. If you are applying gel polish yourself, make sure that the first layer you apply is as thin as possible. It should be almost transparent. If you find that the polish is not bubbling but peeling off, this may be because you did not file the nail before applying the polish. It is also a good idea to apply a sealing coat to the edge of the nail. This will seal the edge of the polish so that it does not peel off as easily. All nails are different, so sometimes extra care is needed.

You should avoid getting your eyes wet for the first 48 hours. Especially during the first 48 hours, but also afterwards, you should avoid steam baths, saunas, or other places where you are exposed to hot steam. Mascara on the eyelashes wears them down, so it should also be avoided. However, it is a good idea to brush your lashes with a mascara brush every day to clean them and separate the hairs.
